چکیده
The notion of persistently optimal strategy in gambling theory is analogous to that of subgameperfect equilibria in game theory. We prove the existence of persistently -optimal strategies for the players engaged in a nonleavable stochastic game with finite state space.

Concurrent Games with Tail Objectives
We study infinite stochastic games played by two-players over a finite state space, with objectives specified by sets of infinite traces. The games are concurrent (players make moves simultaneously and independently), stochastic (the next state is determined by a probability distribution that depends on the current state and chosen moves of the players) and infinite (proceeds for infinite numbe...
متن کاملPerfect-Information Stochastic Parity Games
We show that in perfect-information stochastic parity games with a finite state space both players have optimal pure positional strategies. Contrary to the recent proofs of this fact by K. Chatterejee, M. Jurdziński, T.A. Henzinger [2] and A.K. McIver, C.C. Morgan [14] the proof given in this paper proceeds by a straightforward induction on the number of outgoing transitions available to one of...
متن کاملTwo Player Non Zero-sum Stopping Games in Discrete Time
We prove that every two player non zero-sum stopping game in discrete time admits an -equilibrium in randomized strategies, for every > 0. We use a stochastic variation of Ramsey Theorem, which enables us to reduce the problem to that of studying properties of -equilibria in a simple class of stochastic games with finite state space.
متن کاملN–person Stochastic Games: Extensions of the Finite State Space Case and Correlation
In this chapter, we present a framework for m-person stochastic games with an infinite state space. Our main purpose is to present a correlated equilibrium theorem proved by Nowak and Raghavan [42] for discounted stochastic games with a measurable state space, where the correlation of the different players’ strategies employs only “public signals” [16]. We will also provide a detailed survey of...
متن کاملRobustness of Structurally Equivalent Concurrent Parity Games
We consider two-player stochastic games played on a finite state space for an infinite number of rounds. The games are concurrent: in each round, the two players (player 1 and player 2) choose their moves independently and simultaneously; the current state and the two moves determine a probability distribution over the successor states. We also consider the important special case of turn-based ...
